Only 3 more months and I'll be Mrs. Darby. WOW!
When mom and dad came to visit last weekend, we address all of the invitations and I designed the insert information card. I have to finalize what I want on it and get them printed. And I need to still print off the programs.
Cameron has her dress so now my girls are dressed!!! On my way home next month, I've gotta stop by Al's Formal Wear and make sure the color we chose for the tuxes matches the blue I'm using. Yepp, got the tuxes done too!
Nancy gave me a GREAT idea on what to do for centerpieces, now I just have to figure out if I wanna use them for the reception or rehearsal..or both! I've gotta go talk to the Belgium house and see what all stuff I can use that they have and what I might need to purchase.
The wedding is gonna be fantastic! I can't wait! I'm a little nervous about getting my dress altered...I hope it fits! It was kinda tight last time I put it on but I've been working out with the 30 Day Shred and I've lost some inches so hopefully it helps, and I am gonna continue working out until the wedding.
Welp, Idk what else to say right now so bye bye!!

Oh-Em-Ge
Stacen dropped out of my wedding with FOUR months to go all because I was supposedly rude to her and didn't apologize like she thought I should. I'm sorry for being a bride who is trying to make sure her bridesmaids are dressed for the wedding and suggesting ways to save for the dress. Here's your potato sack! According to her, I was trying to micromanage how she spent her money when, after telling me several times she doesn't have the money right now and she's waiting until she gets grant money, I suggest cutting out some entertainment expenses to save up money (although she's known since like February she needed this), trying to be a helpful bride. Nope. That only pissed her off. But it's for the better. She's late just about everywhere we try to go and well, she waits til the last minute on everything. For people who know me know I'm the exact opposite and people like that drive me up the wall!
Never fear though, my wonderful cousin Cameron stepped up to the plate and is taking her place! I have no worries about Cameron what-so-ever! I should have stuck to family in the first place :)
I put together a sample of our program and OMG they are adorable! Now I just need to get more decoration items for the ceremony, figure out where things are going, and centerpieces/decorations for the reception and rehearsal and we're set! I got the music planned out, I got pretty much everything planned out except for those few things. Oh plus the showers. We still are debating on dates for those as well as a date to finalize stuff for the Belgium House. Oh and flowers. LOL Damnit.

Not Much Left!
I went to Hobby Lobby in Fort Worth not long ago and purchased a few items. I got programs, a garter, favors and favor boxes! And this weekend Tasha and I bought our shoes so I'm all set!
I just have to figure out where to purchase flowers and the centerpieces as well as a few minor things and I'll be set for the entire wedding.
EEK! 4 months and 2 weeks!

Phew! Lots done this weekend
Well to start off with, Steven and I went to Belton on Wednesday night. Thursday we had our engagement pictures at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor taken by one of Nancy's (Steven's mom) co-workers. Boy it was hot!! Afterwards, I had a meeting with her friend Charolette about doing our flowers for the wedding. We got some stuff figured out and got idea's flowing but nothing is really set in stone yet.
Friday, I drive to Henderson and pick up mom and we head out to Longview to meet with our videographer. That went very well and we put our deposit down for that. They seem to be really friendly and fun to work with! Afterwards, we went to Olive Garden and met up with Tasha after she delivered a cake (long story). We got home and we put on my dress and veil and OMG it was tight! Granted, I had a full belly with food but it was almost unbearable, therefore I decided I needed to get back on my diet and really work on losing more weight and work on toning up. Ugh, not looking forward to the process but definitely looking forward to the results!
Saturday, we met with the caterer to finalize our menu (it's gonna be delicious!) and we also met with the judge who will perform our ceremony. He seems like he'll be a good fit for what we want. He sure is a talker though! We also went and got my hair done for another trial run. It turned out okay...but Tasha did her magic and made it AMAZING so I've definitely got my hair style. It would have been easier for the salon to do it if I had brought a "bump it" which I'll do next time. We took pictures so I can print them out and show them to Morgan and get it styled just right. Tasha also did my make-up for me and it turned out beautiful. She also hooked me up with some Beauticontrol products to help my skin in all sorts of ways! I can't wait to start using it. She's such an awesome Matron of Honor. She's gone WAY above and beyond her expected duties and I thank her greatly for that.
Now all that's left is decoration for ceremony (won't need much) reception and rehearsal, finalization of flowers, programs, music (got some done but not all), a few accessories for me, and alterations! Almost done planning stuff with 5 months to go. I say I'm doing pretty well!

Little Update!
I had to drop a bridesmaid and in return, a groomsmen. One of my girls is preggo and is due sometime in November or December and just might not be able to travel 4 1/2 hours to my wedding, much less stand on her feet and look all preggo up there. It's okay though, at least it's not some bull excuse, right?!
We received our wedding invitations and napkins and mom was kind enough to bring me one of each when she came down for graduation. They are gorgeous!!! The brown is really light though so I'll have to go with a lighter brown rather than the David's Bridal brown which is okay. That brown was hard to find and this one will probably be easier to match things with.
I think we've got a good idea about catering for the rehearsal AND reception. Just gotta nail down a few more details and we'll be set on that!! OOh that reminds me, I need to get on the ball and find a minister or JOP to perform the ceremony.
Anywho, that's about it for now. :)

WeddigStar.com
Today I got my shipment from Weddingstar, well most of it anyways. They didn't include one sand color for our unity sand. Oh and the grooms cake topper was broke as well as one of the other sands lids. So needlesstosay, I called them and was like, um I'm missing this color sand, the grooms cake topper was broken, and so was the lid to this sand. So early next week I should be getting a new cake topper and the missing bottle of sand :) for FREE. Damn skippy.
I could still use the cake topper we got, with a little super glue, but I paid nearly $30 for it so yeah, they better send a new one. Our unity sand vases are beautiful. I wish I could display them lol but not until November!!
We still haven't heard anything about prices on the flowers or about our wedding invitations. I think I'll email the belgium house and see what's up.

Wedding Dress: CHECK!
My mother, future mother in law, matron of honor and I went to Davids Bridal to find my dress as well as get Tasha her dress. I tried on probably 7 to 8 dresses before narrowing it down to 2. As soon as I put the first one on, everyone (minus Tasha) began to cry and that's how I knew it was my dress. Tasha came out of the dressing room and was like AWWWW !! I had to put on the second dress just to make sure b/c it was really pretty as well but definitely not the same reaction so I put the first one on again and rang the cow bell signaling that I found my dress! Tasha bought hers as well and I can't wait to see all of my girls and I on my big day looking so pretty! We also bought the bra and veil but we had to order them. I took my dress home and I will be going over it with a fine tooth comb so I can tell the alterations lady in a few months what needs to be fixed and cleaned. EEK!!! I'm so excited that I found my dress!!!!!!!!!!!
